About:
The Irondequoit High School boys’ volleyball team is going beyond the court to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. In a special “Pink Out” game tonight, the team will be raising awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester (ROC), showcasing the power of sports to create positive change in the community.
The Pink Out game invites students, parents, and the local community to come out, wear pink, and cheer on the Eagles while supporting an important cause. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Breast Cancer Coalition of ROC, which provides critical resources, support, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
Events like this remind us that athletics is about more than just competition—it’s about using the platform to make a difference. The Irondequoit High School Eagles are setting an example of how young athletes can come together to support their community and make an impact that goes beyond the game.
