About:
The Iroquois Red Hawks Football team and Cheer team came together to make the holiday season brighter for local families in need. Demonstrating the spirit of giving, they adopted families in their community, ensuring they could experience a joyful and festive holiday.
To bring this vision to life, the teams joined forces to raise funds for gifts, food, and decorations. After receiving the families’ wish lists, the players and cheerleaders spent time shopping for the perfect items. They then gathered for a fun-filled wrapping party at their local Crossroads Church, where they packaged the gifts with care and holiday cheer.
This heartwarming effort showcases the true meaning of teamwork—both on and off the field. From providing essential items to spreading joy, the Red Hawks and Cheer team showed how sports can inspire compassion and positively impact their local community.
The holiday season is all about giving back, and the Iroquois Red Hawks are leading by example. Kudos to the teams for their kindness, generosity, and commitment to making a difference!
