About:
The Island Trees High School Cheerleaders closed out their season in the best way possible — with a vibrant Pink Out game and their beloved Cheerleader for a Day tradition. The event brought together athletes, families, and the next generation of future Bulldogs for a night full of spirit, connection, and purpose.
Dressed in pink to raise awareness for breast cancer, the cheer team rallied the crowd with enthusiasm and heart. Their efforts added an extra layer of meaning to the game as they honored those in the community affected by breast cancer and celebrated unity in the fight for a cure.
One of the highlights of the night was welcoming the future IT cheerleaders onto the sidelines. These young athletes had the opportunity to cheer alongside the varsity team, learn routines, and experience firsthand the excitement and pride of game day. It was also a special moment for Island Trees’ seniors, who shared the sideline one last time with their teammates while passing the spirit baton to the next generation.
