On October 15, the Islip girl’s volleyball program hosted its annual Dig Pink game against West Hampton, turning the gym into a vibrant sea of pink.
With festive decorations, players wore special Dig Pink warm-up shirts to show their support for breast cancer awareness.
The event included a bake sale and raffle, contributing to the spirited atmosphere.
This year, the team raised an impressive $450, all of which will be donated to the Islip Breast Cancer Coalition.
The event not only showcased the team’s athletic prowess but also highlighted their commitment to giving back to the community.
