In an inspiring demonstration of unity within their community, Ithaca Lacrosse players athletes assumed responsibility for the rejuvenation of the Stuart Park waterfront.
Enthusiastic members of both the junior varsity and varsity lacrosse teams eagerly pitched in, investing two hours of their time into a meticulous cleanup operation, likened to a resolute battalion combating invasive vegetation with unwavering determination.
Backed by the unwavering support of approximately 50 to 60 players and their families, the once-neglected waterfront underwent a remarkable transformation.
Under the adept leadership of Julia Gorman, who orchestrated the coordination of efforts, this collective endeavor serves as a poignant testament to the power of teamwork and a deep-rooted commitment to environmental preservation.
