About:
Ithaca’s Strike Out Cancer event, in collaboration with the NFCA, successfully raised $300 for the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes. Leading up to the May 6th game against Lansing, the team tracked donations and proudly presented a check to the organization during the game. A representative from the center had the honor of throwing the first pitch.
To further show their support, the coach provided wristbands and helmet stickers for all players from both teams. This event not only raised funds but also spread awareness for an important cause.
