The Jericho High School football program is using the power of sports to give back by hosting a special youth flag football clinic in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and the Jericho Football Program.
Scheduled for June 1, the clinic will welcome boys and girls in grades K-6 for an evening focused on skill development, community connection, and supporting an important cause. Young athletes will have the opportunity to learn the game in a fun and positive environment while interacting with members of the Jericho football community.
In addition to promoting youth participation and teamwork, the event will help raise awareness and funds connected to breast cancer support efforts. Community members are also encouraged to donate even if they are unable to attend the clinic.
Events like this continue to highlight how student-athletes and athletic programs can make a meaningful impact beyond competition by bringing communities together around service, leadership, and giving back.
