About:
Giving back is a long-standing tradition at Jericho High School, and this winter the school’s Student Council once again demonstrated the power of student leadership through its annual toy drive in partnership with Fundación de Esperanza.
Led by the Student Council Presidents, the Jericho High School Student Council organized and carried out a successful collection of toys for Fundación de Esperanza’s annual winter drive. Through thoughtful planning and collaboration, students worked together to ensure that toys were gathered and delivered to support children and families in need.
This meaningful initiative highlights the strong connection between Jericho High School and its community partners, as well as the dedication of student leaders who take pride in serving others. By continuing this cherished tradition, the Student Council reinforces the values of compassion, responsibility, and community engagement.
The success of the toy drive is a testament to the generosity of the Jericho school community and the leadership of its students. Their efforts helped bring joy and comfort to children during the winter season, reminding everyone that service is at the heart of what it means to be a Jericho Jayhawk.
