About:

The Happy to Help Club from John F. Kennedy Elementary School in the West Babylon School District was recognized in April by Babylon officials including Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Councilman Terence McSweeney, Councilman Tony Martinez and Beautification Program Director Viscel Moore.

The Happy to Help Club has participated in various community service/cleanup events around town. They planned and organized all of the cleanup events. Some cleanup efforts included Anthony Sanchez Park and Straight Path and 18th Street. The club also collected and donated food and toiletries to the West Babylon Senior High School food pantry.

Their efforts began in 2017 and they are still going strong. The district congratulates the Happy to Help Club members: Jenna Anson, Savannah Brustad, Sophia Corrigan, Scarlett Farrell, Kiera Fehr, Adelina Fitzgerald, Kelly Fitzgerald, Brooke Kelskey, Hailey Larso, Lia Margarita, Lily Ryder and Sadie Searage.
