In a lovely display of culinary community service, members of the Let’s Make a Difference Club at Deer Park’s John F. Kennedy Intermediate School recently made over 130 bagged lunches for the residents of the Pax Christie Hospitality Men’s Shelter in Port Jefferson.
“The people living at the shelter were very grateful, and the kids had so much fun,” teacher Jacqueline Amato said.
