About:
Elwood-John H. Glenn High School made an incredible splash this year at the Town of Oyster Bay’s Polar Plunge at Tobay Beach on March 28, earning its third consecutive Cool School Challenge Champion title. Students, staff and the entire school community came together in a powerful show of school spirit and generosity, raising an outstanding total of $16,238 for the Special Olympics of New York.
“While braving the icy waters was a thrill, the true heart of the event was the powerful show of school spirit and our community’s commitment to making a difference,” teacher Diane Locascio said. “This achievement highlights the incredible unity and pride that define our school. Thank you to everyone who supported this great cause.”
