About:
This month, the Kenmore East Girls Volleyball team made an impact both on and off the court with their annual Dig Pink Night. The event brought together the team, school community, and fans in support of cancer awareness, raising funds for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dig Pink Night was more than just a game; it was a powerful demonstration of support for those affected by cancer. The Kenmore East Bulldogs wore pink and played with passion, honoring loved ones and rallying for a cause close to their hearts. With community members filling the stands, the atmosphere was one of unity and purpose.
Funds raised during the event will go directly to Roswell Park’s cancer research and treatment initiatives, supporting the center’s vital work in advancing treatment options and improving patient outcomes.
Kenmore East is proud to see its athletes taking an active role in giving back, showing that teamwork and sportsmanship extend beyond the court. Events like Dig Pink remind us of the strength that comes from community and the positive impact we can make together.
Thank you to the Kenmore East Girls Volleyball team, their supporters, and everyone who came out to contribute to this meaningful cause! Go Bulldogs!
