With the guidance of advisers Lori Gus and Jackie McDougal, the West End Elementary School Student Council in the Lynbrook Public Schools recently began working on a “Kindness Rocks” project and painted more than 400 rocks. The student council members will soon get the entire student body involved to decorate the rocks with inspirational pictures and messages. The rocks will then be scattered around the Lynbrook community to help spread kindness.
