The Lakemen Varsity Baseball team recently showcased their dedication to giving back by volunteering to clean up Kruger Park in the Village of Wilson. This initiative highlighted the team’s commitment to community service and their role as leaders both on and off the field. By contributing their time and energy, the players not only helped beautify a cherished local space but also reinforced the importance of environmental responsibility.
Mayor Greg Martin, aware that all Wilson athletic teams are expected to participate in a community service project, reached out to the school with this opportunity. The Varsity Baseball team proudly stepped up to take it on, strengthening their connection with the community and setting a strong example of student-athlete leadership in action.
