The Lakeville Bantam AA Hockey team showed that leadership isn’t limited to the rink by volunteering their time at Feed My Starving Children.
Athletes worked side by side to help pack meals for children and families facing food insecurity around the world. The hands-on service project highlighted the same values that drive success in hockey—hard work, teamwork, and commitment—while giving players the opportunity to make a meaningful impact beyond competition.
By stepping up to serve, the Lakeville Bantam AA team demonstrated heart and character, reinforcing the idea that being a great teammate also means giving back to the community. Their efforts are a strong reminder that the lessons learned through sports extend far beyond the ice.
