The Lakeville North Football program is preparing to recognize the men and women who have served — or are currently serving — in the United States military during its upcoming Military Night on October 23.
As part of the event, the Panthers are inviting alumni and family members of current players who have military connections to be honored.
The program is asking families to submit a photo, the service member’s name, branch of service, connection to Lakeville North Football, and any other information they would like shared as part of the recognition.
Submissions are being accepted through October 16, giving the football program time to prepare a meaningful tribute for Military Night.
By highlighting members of the Lakeville North community who have served in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, and other branches, the Panthers are creating an opportunity for student-athletes to learn more about service, sacrifice, and gratitude.
The event reflects the powerful role athletics can play in bringing a school community together to honor those who have given so much in service to others.
