About:
All of our varsity lacrosse players picked one teacher to come invite to the game (22 girls). They could choose anyone they have had as a teacher/coach since kindergarten. Some choose elementary teachers- some high school.
The girls wrote them a personal/heart felt letter telling them what they mean to them and inviting them to the game. I wrote one that I attached and sent over to the teachers. (attached)
When the teachers come to the game we announce each teacher- they come up and hug their student and take a picture. The player then gives them a ball with a hand-written message on it that they can keep !
