The Eastridge Bowling and Tennis programs recently demonstrated the true meaning of community leadership through their involvement in the Lancer Athletes Care initiative, organizing a Cleaning Supplies Donation Drive to support local families in need.
Recognizing that basic household cleaning products are an essential but often overlooked necessity, the teams came together to lead a schoolwide effort focused on collecting these important items. From January 26 through February 10, athletes worked alongside their families and coaches to gather donations and raise awareness about the needs within their community.
The initiative culminated in a meaningful collection event held at Seabreeze Bowl, where members of the Eastridge community united to contribute and show their support. The event not only resulted in a strong collection of essential supplies but also reinforced the values of compassion, teamwork, and service that define the Eastridge Athletic Department.
Through their leadership and dedication, the Bowling and Tennis programs helped create a positive impact while inspiring others to get involved.
