On Monday, December 15, the LI Gulls Mite Majors spent a truly meaningful day giving back to the community by volunteering with two incredible organizations—Dancing Dreams and the Tim Bear Foundation.
The day began at Dancing Dreams, where children with physical disabilities participate in uplifting, therapeutic dance lessons that build confidence, joy, and self-expression. Adding to the holiday spirit, the Tim Bear Foundation joined the visit, bringing holiday presents for the children and spreading extra cheer throughout the day. The Tim Bear Foundation plays a vital role in supporting Dancing Dreams’ mission by helping provide wheelchair-accessible beach experiences through specially designed wheelchairs built to navigate sand and salt water—making the simple joy of a beach day possible for all.
Throughout the visit, the Gulls Mite Majors proudly volunteered in a variety of ways, including:
