About:
Last night, January 30th, 2024, Livingston Manor and Roscoe Girls JV/Varsity Basketball and Varsity Girls Cheerleading hosted their annual pink out cancer awareness contests. This was a joint effort with Tri-Valley CSD and their program.
The group with the help of some local volunteers was able to bring in over $600 in donations to support a Sullivan County volunteer organization called “Ride 2 Survive.”
Ride 2 Survive aides area residents with transportation expenses to and from treatment/appointments.
” We thank the volunteers, the athletes, and the communities for all of their support in this wonderful night to support a great cause locally. Big Shout out to the Roscoe-Rockland Ladies Auxiliary for providing pink socks for all of the LMCS & RCS athletes to wear!!
— David Eggleton Livingston Manor and Roscoe Central Schools Director of Physical Education/Health Education, Wellness, and Athletics
