Longwood students and alumni recently demonstrated the district’s commitment to service and inclusion by volunteering at the Nassau County Victory Games for the Physically Challenged.
A remarkable group of 85 volunteers from Longwood Junior High School, Longwood High School, and returning alumni dedicated their time and energy to supporting this inspiring event, helping create a memorable experience for athletes from across Long Island.
The Nassau County Victory Games provide more than 1,500 athletes of all abilities with the opportunity to compete, develop new skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of participation in a supportive and inclusive environment. For many athletes, the event represents a chance to showcase their abilities, connect with peers, and be celebrated for their achievements.
Longwood volunteers played an important role in making the day a success.
