Students from Longwood’s National Honor Society and Seal of Civic Readiness program recently teamed up with the Ridge Civic Association—and a very special guest, the Easter Bunny—to spread joy and compassion throughout the community.
With baskets full of brightly colored eggs and hearts full of kindness, the students helped organize and deliver food donations to Neighbors Being Human in Yaphank, ensuring that local families had the support they needed this Easter season. Their efforts included assembling food baskets and hand-delivering Easter cheer to families in need.
This collaboration is a wonderful example of what can happen when students, community organizations, and local leaders come together in the spirit of service. It also highlights Longwood’s commitment to developing civic-minded, compassionate leaders of tomorrow.
