About:
This year we are ‘upping our game’ to help support the Blessing Brigade. LSI Football will team up again with the “Blessing Brigade” to raise funds and collect donations for local Veterans organizations and Joseph’s House.
We will be earning money and collecting donations in a few ways:
1. Seeking Sponsors from local friends, family and businesses.
2. T-Shirt Sales. We will be selling special T-Shirts to Students, Staff, Families, Friends, and attendees at our game on 10/15/21. The proceeds from shirts will go towards purchasing needed items and/or financial donation to the Blessing Brigade so that they can get what is needed.
3. Donations for a raffle. We will be asking each of our football families from our program (about 90 players) to donate $5. With those funds we will be buying items to make into raffle baskets. Anyone who donates a needed item from the Blessing Brigades list will get a raffle ticket. 1 Ticket per item. The donated items will be given to the Blessing Brigade to distribute to St Joseph’s house and the local Veterans Houses. We will also sell tickets to those who don’t bring items.
4. We will be seeking donations as well from the opposing team we play at our special game event on 10/15/21
5. The Booster club will donate the funds raised from the 50/50, a portion of the concession sales, and a portion of the gate fee to the Blessing Brigade as well.
This has really had a fire put under it by one of our Senior players Eddie Yamin. And while it’s mostly a Varsity team driven event it will take the support and help from our whole program.

We had great success collecting donated goods at the Blitz Brigade! The full event will actually finish up 11/28 when we go to fill the truck on 11/28. The opponents Booster Club paid for any of their students admission as their contribution to the event. This was a very generous thing for them to do. Our team, families, and fans filled the boxes and then some!
