About:
The Mahopac Varsity Softball team recently hosted a special event, joining forces with Mahopac Sports Association (MSA) youth athletes for an evening filled with fun, teamwork, and mentorship. The event brought together the varsity players’ leadership and experience with the enthusiasm and energy of the younger athletes, creating a truly inspiring atmosphere of community and athletic growth. Varsity players Emily Biagini, Alex Weiss, Stephanie Jubak, and Bella Genovese volunteered to share their softball knowledge with MSA’s youth feeder program, working with 30 young athletes from the Mahopac area.
The clinic offered the younger players a valuable opportunity to learn from their role models, hone their skills, and experience the thrill of playing alongside seasoned varsity athletes. These kinds of events emphasize the importance of building strong connections between high school teams and youth programs, helping to ensure that the next generation of athletes receives the support and mentorship they need to excel both on and off the field.
The Mahopac Varsity team not only demonstrated their athletic ability but also their dedication to giving back to the local sports community. Events like this truly capture the essence of sportsmanship and teamwork—values that extend far beyond the game.
Congratulations to both the Mahopac Varsity Softball team and MSA for an incredible evening of action and inspiration! Go PAC!
