About:
Members of Division Avenue High School’s PosiDiv Club in the Levittown Public Schools recently spread love and care while visiting St. Joseph’s Hospital. The students made care packages throughout the month of October for breast cancer patients and brought the packages to the hospital to be distributed.
The staff at the hospital gave out 25 bags to the patients and dropped off 20 more to the infusion center. The patients were very happy to receive the bags. While the students were visiting the hospital, they participated in a tour of the different units and engaged in conversations with doctors, nurses and radiologists. As a way to thank them, students were offered different volunteer opportunities for the future.
