Throughout October, the Manetuck Elementary School community—families, teachers, staff, and students—came together to support a meaningful and heartfelt cause. The school hosted a breast cancer awareness fundraiser benefiting the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition’s Lend a Hand program, which provides crucial assistance to local individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
With each donation, participants received a pink ribbon that was proudly placed on a growing Wall of Hope inside the building. The display became a powerful visual reminder of compassion, solidarity, and the strength of a united school community.
Thanks to the generosity and spirit of everyone involved, Manetuck Elementary raised nearly $500, directly supporting neighbors in need and helping ease the burden for families facing breast cancer.
