About:
Student leaders are making a heartfelt impact by turning compassion into action.
Over the past several months, members of the Mepham Leo Club collected donated items to support children facing hospital stays. In partnership with Little Saint Nick Foundation, students came together to assemble “anti-anxiety bags” filled with comforting items designed to bring relief and support to young patients.
From organizing donation drives to packaging each bag with care, students played an active role in every step of the initiative—demonstrating leadership, empathy, and a commitment to helping others. The completed bags will now be distributed to children in hospitals, offering comfort during difficult times.
This marks the second year of the initiative, made possible through the efforts of student leader Alexis Skreckoski, whose vision helped bring the project to life once again.
Through projects like this, Mepham students continue to show how small acts of kindness can have a powerful impact—bringing comfort, hope, and support to those who need it most.
