Merrick Avenue Schools are coming together to wear gold in support of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Students are encouraged to wear gold to school on September 13th to honor cancer warriors, childhood cancer survivors, and all those who have dedicated their lives to improving the outcomes for children battling cancer.
In addition to wearing gold, be sure to keep an eye out for a special cookie sale happening at school that day. All proceeds from the sale will go directly to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, an organization dedicated to raising funds for pediatric cancer research.
Let’s make a difference together by raising awareness and showing support for children fighting this brave battle. Join us in wearing gold this Friday!
