Photo Caption: The National Junior Honor Society at Edmund W. Miles Middle School in the Amityville Union Free School District recently finished raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Led by adviser Carlee Wallenstein, the Amityville chapter was the top earner in all of Suffolk County by raising $2,101 for the Ones for Wishes Campaign. Students were able to meet two children who will benefit from the funds at a wish sendoff party at TD Bank in Lake Ronkonkoma.
