Student-athletes from Mineola and Manhasset recently came together through the Athletes Helping Athletes program to tackle important issues affecting high school sports today—sportsmanship, bullying, and civility.
Through open discussions and shared experiences, these young leaders explored ways to create a more inclusive, respectful, and positive environment on and off the field. By working together, they are setting an example for their peers and reinforcing the values that make sports a powerful force for good.
