About:
The Mineola High School Varsity Football team and cheerleaders took the field with a purpose beyond the game on October 16, proudly wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Mineola Mustangs came together to show their support for individuals and families affected by breast cancer, demonstrating the power of school spirit, teamwork, and community involvement.
Mustangs Stand Together for a Cause
Throughout October, communities across the country recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month, raising awareness and showing support for those battling the disease, celebrating survivors, and honoring loved ones lost.
By wearing pink during their football game, Mineola’s student-athletes and cheerleaders helped bring attention to a cause that touches so many lives.
The initiative also highlighted the important role student-athletes can play in inspiring others and bringing their school communities together for a greater purpose.
Making an Impact Beyond the Field
For the Mustangs, the evening was about more than football. It was an opportunity to demonstrate compassion, unity, and a commitment to supporting others.
Whether competing on the field or cheering from the sidelines, Mineola’s athletes showed that teamwork extends far beyond sports.
