The spirit of generosity was on full display at Mineola Middle School as students and staff participated in the school’s beloved annual Turkey Trot. This meaningful tradition, shared by @MineolaUFSD and @MineolaMS, brings the entire school community together to support MMS families in need during the Thanksgiving season.
Learners had the chance to contribute just $1 to join the Turkey Trot loop, with all proceeds going directly toward providing complete Thanksgiving dinners for local families. The event not only raises essential funds but also reinforces the values of compassion, teamwork, and community that define Mineola.
Each lap was filled with energy, pride, and purpose as students trotted around the bus loop, knowing their efforts would help make the holiday season brighter for their neighbors.
