About:
The Molloy Men’s Lacrosse team recently showcased the true essence of community service by assisting the South Hempstead Fire Department in unloading an impressive 600 trees. This meaningful act highlights not only their dedication to the sport but also their strong commitment to giving back and making a positive impact in their community.
The trees, destined to bring holiday cheer to local families, reflect the team’s willingness to support causes that matter. Their efforts exemplify the values of teamwork and service, demonstrating the significant role athletes can play beyond the field.
We are proud to feature the Molloy Men’s Lacrosse team in our L.I. Holiday Heroes Challenge, celebrating their hard work in brightening the holiday season for their community. This ongoing tradition, with each session lasting three hours, has been a part of their commitment for several years.
A special thank you to the South Hempstead Fire Department for providing breakfast as a gesture of gratitude, and to the Molloy Men’s Lacrosse team for inspiring us all with their generosity and dedication. Their contributions remind us of the powerful impact of simple acts of kindness.
