Monroe-Woodbury Basketball Teams Spread Holiday Cheer for Troops

The Monroe-Woodbury JV and Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball teams recently demonstrated the spirit of giving by coming together to support our servicemen and women during the holiday season.

In collaboration with Towns4Troops, 49 dedicated student-athletes spent two hours stuffing stockings for both active-duty troops and those stationed here at home. Each stocking was filled with thoughtful, donated items such as candy, pens, notebooks, and other small gifts designed to bring a little joy and comfort to our heroes during the holidays.

This meaningful event not only fostered teamwork among the athletes but also emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and showing gratitude to those who serve our country.
