This February, the Monroe-Woodbury Modified Girls Basketball teams took part in an incredibly heartwarming initiative—Project Valentine. The event, which honors seniors and veterans who may not be able to spend Valentine’s Day with their families and loved ones, was a beautiful way to bring some joy and smiles to those who need it most.
The athletes worked hard to create and deliver thoughtful Valentines to seniors and veterans, spreading love and appreciation. It was a special way for the players to connect with their community and show support for those who have made significant contributions.
