During practice today at the middle school, the modified baseball squad received an unexpected visit from seniors of the varsity baseball team, marking a heartwarming moment of community involvement. The varsity players warmly welcomed the younger athletes to the program and presented them with their baseball hats. The sight of their admired varsity players passing down this essential piece of their uniform filled the modified players with joy and excitement.
In addition to receiving their hats, the senior members of the varsity team took the time to speak with the squad about the significance of wearing the Crusader ball cap and shared what it has meant to them personally. This thoughtful gesture not only strengthened the bond between the varsity and modified teams but also instilled a sense of pride and belonging in the younger players as they embark on their baseball journey.
