About:
Each year, the Mount Sinai Football program gathers for its annual team picnic—a tradition that celebrates family, community, and the bond between players. But the day doesn’t end when the picnic does.
As part of a long-standing tradition of giving back, the senior players collect leftover food—including hero sandwiches, pasta dishes, and more—and deliver it to Hope House Ministries in Port Jefferson. The team takes pride in knowing that the food is put to good use, supporting members of the local community who rely on Hope House’s services.
Mount Sinai Football has made this donation a yearly commitment, and the players are proud to carry on the tradition of service. For the seniors, this act of giving back represents more than just football—it’s about leadership, gratitude, and community impact.
Through their continued support of Hope House Ministries, Mount Sinai Football shows that being a Mustang means more than what happens on the field. It’s about making a difference off the field, too.
