The New Prague High School basketball programs brought their community together for a meaningful Mental Health Awareness Night, using the power of sport to promote conversations around emotional well-being and support for student-athletes.
Held on December 18 during varsity matchups at New Prague High School, the event — known as the Duck Cup Memorial — focused on raising awareness about mental health challenges and reinforcing the message that no one has to face them alone. Players, families, and fans were encouraged to show their support by participating in themed activities and purchasing special “Hoops for Hope” T-shirts, helping create a visible show of unity throughout the evening.
