The New Hyde Park JV and Varsity cheer teams have had an incredible week of bonding, community spirit, and meaningful impact! From the excitement of the pep rally and homecoming to special practices that brought both teams together, these athletes have shown what true teamwork and school pride look like.
One of the most inspiring moments came when the JV and Varsity squads participated in the Jones Beach Breast Cancer Walk. Dressed in pink and full of energy, they supported the fight against breast cancer not only by walking but also by doing what they do best: stunting and cheering. Their enthusiasm lit up the event, bringing smiles and motivation to participants and onlookers alike.
This week of special activities has brought the teams closer together and reminded everyone of the power of unity and purpose. As the season wraps up with the final game day competition, the coaches couldn’t be prouder of these hardworking athletes who have gone above and beyond, both on and off the mat.
