About:
This is an athletic department endeavor which is partnering with the Nipmuc chapter of the Active Minds Organization and Kyle Cares Foundation. We began partnering with the Kyle Cares Foundation last spring through our boys lacrosse team. This fall we began by having Kyle Cares partner with our league, the Dual Valley Conference, and having a league wide leadership summit with mental health awareness being the focal point. Nipmuc students then created a chapter of the Active Minds Foundation which focuses on the student voice in bringing light to mental health awareness amongst teens. The students are partnering with each of the athletic teams to have a game where the focus is on mental health awareness.
