The NM Field Hockey team recently showed that being part of a team is about much more than what happens during a game.
As an act of kindness, the student-athletes created handmade cards for patients at MGH, filling them with encouraging messages to let patients know they are being thought of, supported, and cheered on.
The project was a simple but meaningful way for the team to spread positivity beyond their school and remind others that they are not alone.
The NM Patriots Boosters Club shared that the effort reflects what their program is all about: family, supporting one another, and giving back to the community.
We are proud to highlight NM Field Hockey for using their time and creativity to make a difference and for showing how student-athletes can have an impact far beyond the field.
