About:
Rhame Avenue and Centre Avenue school students and student athletes learned a lesson about inclusion as they celebrated No One Eats Alone Day, a student-led lunchtime initiative from Beyond Differences, an organization that works to empower students to end social isolation through various programs.
This event, which took place during lunch periods at schools across the country on Feb. 10, motivates students to make a difference by making sure that everyone is included at lunch. Students are encouraged to sit with new friends and classmates to reinforce the message that all kids should be included, valued and accepted by their peers.
