About:
The North Middlesex Field Hockey team showed incredible heart this season, stepping up both on and off the field to support the fight against breast cancer.
This weekend, the team proudly participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, joining thousands in raising awareness and honoring survivors, fighters, and loved ones lost too soon. The NM athletes walked together as a unified team, demonstrating compassion, strength, and a commitment to making a difference in their community.
Earlier in October, NM Field Hockey also hosted their annual Pink Game for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The field was filled with pink — from uniforms to accessories to signs — as players, coaches, families, and supporters rallied behind the cause. The game served as both a celebration of community spirit and a powerful reminder of the importance of early detection, support, and continued research.
Through both events, the team embodied what it means to lead with purpose. NM Field Hockey continues to set an example of compassion, unity, and service — proving that their impact stretches far beyond the scoreboard.
