Northport Cheer continues to demonstrate its commitment to service with two meaningful community initiatives this season.
The team is collected school supplies to support Hope for Youth, an Amityville-based organization that provides temporary foster care for endangered youth. By organizing this drive, Northport Cheer aims to ensure that children entering care have access to essential academic materials. Community members contributed by donating supplies and arranging pickups through Doriann Caccamo. This effort reflects the team’s dedication to supporting vulnerable children across Long Island.
In addition, Northport Cheer recently partnered with the Northport football community to encourage donations for Ramone’s Food Pantry. During Homecoming weekend, families and fans were invited to bring nonperishable food items to help stock the pantry. The initiative was promoted under the shared message of Tigers helping Tigers, reinforcing the strong sense of unity within the Northport community.
Through both of these initiatives, Northport Cheer continues to lead with compassion, inspire others, and show how school spirit can create a lasting positive impact.
