September was Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and the Northport cheerleaders stepped up to make a difference. At the first football game of the season on 9/14, they wore gold shoelaces and used gold poms to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. Additionally, they sold gold bracelets and cookies to raise funds for the Daniela Conte Foundation, a local organization dedicated to supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer.
By purchasing a bracelet or a sweet treat, fans showed their support for this important cause and helped bring awareness to pediatric cancer. Northport cheer’s efforts made a meaningful impact this month, standing in solidarity with those battling pediatric cancer.
