September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and the Northport cheerleaders are stepping up to make a difference. At the first football game of the season on 9/14, they will be wearing gold shoelaces and using gold poms to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. Additionally, they will be selling gold bracelets and possibly cookies to raise funds for the Daniela Conte Foundation, a local organization dedicated to supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer.
By purchasing a bracelet or a sweet treat, fans can show their support for this important cause and help bring awareness to pediatric cancer.
