About:
The Northport Field Hockey family recently came together for a meaningful night dedicated to breast cancer awareness, using the game as an opportunity to honor the people whose strength and courage continue to inspire them.
Players proudly shared who they were playing for, making the evening especially personal and powerful. Each name represented a person, a story, and a reminder of the many individuals and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.
The team also held its annual Breast Cancer Awareness sale, with players, families, and community members coming together to purchase items, make donations, volunteer, and support the cause.
Through the event, Northport Field Hockey helped raise awareness while showing support for those currently fighting breast cancer, celebrating survivors, and remembering loved ones.
The night was a powerful example of how student-athletes can use their platform to bring people together around an important cause and make an impact beyond the field.
They play for them. They fight with them. They stand beside them.
