The Panther community came together in an extraordinary way this Thanksgiving season, demonstrating leadership, compassion, and the power of teamwork. Our student-athletes donated an incredible 1,226 pounds of food to Island Harvest, helping support families across Long Island during the holidays.
With a goal of collecting 1,000 nonperishable items, the Panthers didn’t just meet expectations—they soared past them. More than 1,400 items were donated, filling bins, boxes, and hearts throughout our school community. From canned vegetables and soups to pasta, sauces, and pantry essentials, the generosity on display was truly CAN-TASTIC.
This collection was made possible thanks to the spirit of giving shown by our student-athletes, coaches, families, and supporters. Their contributions will make a meaningful difference for local households facing food insecurity this season.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped spread the word. The Panther community once again proved that when we come together, we make an impact far beyond the field, court, or classroom.
