About:
A big shoutout goes to Paul D. Schreiber student Charlie Cohn and his remarkable lacrosse teammates for their tremendous effort in raising awareness and funds for colorectal cancer! Together, they successfully raised $5,000 by selling ‘STICK IT TO COLON CANCER’ T-shirts, demonstrating their commitment and dedication to a meaningful cause.
The proceeds from their fundraising campaign, held in honor of Stacey Cohn, will go to support the De Rosa Foundation Colorectal Cancer Innovation Fund at Northwell Health. This foundation is renowned for its work in advancing colorectal cancer research, treatment, and patient support.
Charlie Cohn and his teammates’ initiative not only honors a loved one but also contributes significantly to the fight against colorectal cancer. Their efforts highlight the power of community and the impact that determined young individuals can have in supporting vital health causes.
For more information on how you can contribute to the cause or get involved in similar initiatives, please visit the De Rosa Foundation’s website. Let’s continue to support and uplift those battling colorectal cancer and work towards a future with better treatment and prevention.
