Photo caption: Southampton Elementary School Student Council members honored members of the military and their families by placing flags on their graves for Memorial Day. It was a transformational experience for the students to see the difference before and after the placement of the flags. As they placed the flags, the students said the name of the person at each gravesite and thanked them for their service. Advisers Lisa Carew and Annemarie Calogrias said they are very proud of the students for their service to the community and school throughout the year.
