As the leaves begin to change, so too has the incredible momentum of the Pembroke High School Student Council. With over 100 members, including 75–80 student-athletes, this passionate group will log 25+ volunteer hours per student this fall and holiday season—all while balancing sports, academics, and leadership.
Guided by a mission to serve both school and community, Student Council has organized dozens of impactful events this semester. From raising thousands for charitable causes to planning Spirit Week, their work is a shining example of what student-led initiative can achieve.

In recognition of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, students turned the halls purple with:

❄️ December: Comfort Bags for Dana Farber Cancer Institute
Student Council’s charity of the year is the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. In December, they will:

Purchase, assemble, and deliver 30+ comfort bags for cancer patients

Items include cozy socks, lotion, cocoa, journals, lip balm, puzzles, scarves, tea, and gift cards
-
Cost of the project: Over $3,000

Cards with inspirational messages will be created by Key Club

Delivery by a small group of student leaders to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth
